The AVI8ORS’ MISSION

“Celebrating the Music of the Greatest Generation”


MISSION: To keep alive the musical memories and to honor the sacrifices made by the men and women of this great country in the WWII era.

The group provides live performances of a wide range of songs from the 30's and 40's to entertain and inspire a diverse audience. The AVI8ORS Ensemble is a high quality act that blends subtle choreography, humor, and dialog with the music to give the performance a bit of a “USO Show” feel. The singers perform in authentic WWII uniforms and stay as true to the period as possible. Era memorabilia is usually displayed at the events.

The group repertoire consists of about 75 WWII era numbers in a variety of presentations to make an audience feel proud, amorous, patriotic, sentimental and joyous. The repertoire includes some silly songs, Broadway tunes, popular tunes, World War II songs, crooner numbers, religious and patriotic pieces. The lineup includes a number of medleys to give the audience a “maximum nostalgic benefit.” The arrangements are varied in style and are set in solo, duet, trio, quartet and ensemble voicing. The rhythm section accompanies most tunes, but a few a cappella numbers are mixed in for variety.

The Avi8ors are equipped and prepared for a large variety of venues and crowd types. They are available to perform for concerts, benefits, reunions, luncheons, conferences, parties, anniversary celebrations, weddings, etc. Several options are available for length of program, number of performers and repertoire.
