The 1940's ...

...Alive Again On Stage !

About the Group ...

The wonderful music of the World War II era, performed in USO style show some of the finest musicians in the Heartland. The group is comprised of 4 singers , 3 instrumentalists and a professional sound engineer.

The mission of the AVI8ORS, pronounced "aviators", is to provide a wide range of songs from the 30's and 40's to entertain and inspire a diverse audience. The group is a high quality act that blends subtle choreography, humor, and dialog with music to give the performance a bit of a “USO Show” feel. The singers perform in WWII style uniforms and stay as true to the period as possible. Era memorabilia is usually displayed at the events.

Honoring the Greatest Generation, Their Sacrifices and Their Music

The group believes there is no better way to honor our vets and their families than to keep their music and memories alive. The AVI8ORS strive fervently to recreate the original sounds, styles, rhythms and harmonies of the groups who dominated the charts in the 30's and 40's. This can only be accomplished with the tight, multi part vocal harmony and instrumentals first heard during that era. When you put it all together, the music and memories spring back to life as the sights and sounds of the WWII era come alive again before you on stage.

A Legend in the Making ...

In just a few short years, and without advertising, the AVI8ORS’ popularity and renown has soared. In 2004, the group performed for the WWII Memorial dedication in DC, The National Tuskegee Airmen Reunion and was the featured vocal group at the International Glenn Miller Festival. Since 2000, they have sung for legislative conferences, state fairs, the College World Series, the Strategic Air Command Reunion, the Tuskegee Airmen, the Crew of the Enola Gay, several large Veterans Expositions, the National P47 Pilots reunion, and the Air National Guard Conference. They have shared the stage with the likes of Lee Greenwood, the Guy Lombardo Orchestra, the Tommy Dorsey Band, Oliver North, Charlie Plumb, plus countless civic, corporate and private functions and benefits.
